Full Moon in Virgo, March 5, 2015 at 10:05 am PST
The Full Moon in Virgo, the archetype of the Priestess, occurs on March 5th at 15 degrees, opposing the Sun at 15 degrees of Pisces. As we approach the eclipse in about 2 weeks, the last of seven exact Uranus/Pluto squares occurs on March 16th. This correlates to the opening of the crown chakra allowing the God/Divine force to move into this world with great force. The veil will be pierced and we will remember that we were never really separate from Source, it is only an illusion.
The shadow of Virgo often focuses on what is wrong with us, how we are less than perfect. Many of us have been conditioned to believe we are not worthy of love of Creator, just simply for being human and then cannot love ourselves. This is the journey of life, to remember we are aspects of Creator so how can we not be deserving of love. The Sun in Pisces is reflected brightly in the full moon and allows us to remember that the Divine Spark exists in each cell of our being, in our DNA, that we are Divine Beings. We are each perfect in what seems to be our imperfections as they are the challenges we face as we are growing as spiritual beings. And we are always loved by Creator, that love is unconditional. Love yourself as you remember who you truly are!
The Sun in Pisces is conjunct Chiron, so it also opposes this Full Moon. This brings in the healing energy of compassion for ourselves & others. It is important to remember that we chose to incarnate in human form to learn and grow, so we make mistakes along the way. Mistakes are how we learn and Virgo teaches us the importance of self-improvement. It is important to forgive ourselves for what we did not know but had to learn. Celebrate where you are now, how far you have come and what you have learned. This is the sacred work of Virgo!
Another shadow of the Virgo/ Pisces axis is feeling like a victim, that we have no control over our lives. It is important to remember that we are creating every experience we have as a way to learn & grow. As circumstances appear, which are actually created by aspects of own consciousness, we create our reality by how we respond to them. Energy follows thought, especially so when there is strong emotion. Become aware of where you focus your thoughts & feelings for that is what you are creating. Every experience is an opportunity for growth & self-empowerment. It is important to let go of the story and see the teaching lying underneath the experience.
Virgo teaches us that there is no difference between the sacred and the mundane. It is all the state of consciousness that we have. When acts are done in a state of mindfulness and presence, everything, even the most ordinary acts become sacred. The Divine is most accessible in the present moment. Each moment then becomes sacred and allows us to remember our own Divinity.
Pisces, ruled by Neptune, is connected to intuition. Virgo, ruled by Mercury, is connected to the mind. Intuition is our direct guidance from our Higher Self, which exists in many dimensions. Intuition is meant to be our guide, the mind is our tool that tells us how to implement that guidance. During this time of the Full Moon, listen carefully to those flashes of insight that land in your heart. You will know what is right by feeling it. When you know your direction from the heart, the mind will help determine how to go about manifesting your vision.
As the crown chakra opens our connection to Source comes into more conscious awareness, we are being asked to look at what we are creating in our lives. When we listen more fully to our own intuition, the voice of the Divine Within, we will be led to remember who we truly are. As we remember our true selves, the manifestation of the Divine in form, we come to love ourselves more deeply. Living more in the present moment brings this more fully into our awareness. The separation from Source is only an illusion, it never really happened. We are awakening from the deep sleep of illusion to the vastness of our Being, our Quantum Selves!
