You are the conscious dreamer awakening the dream! The collective dream of a world where justice and love prevail is potentially on its way to becoming a reality. The Full Moon at 4 degrees of Virgo is opposite the Sun in Pisces. A Full Moon is always an integration of opposites. The Sun in Pisces is conjunct Neptune making Pisces, the sign of the dreamer, is very strong. Some indigenous cultures say that collectively we are dreaming the world into being and that we have been dreaming the wrong dream. A new vision of what we can be is growing stronger as more people believe that a different world is possible. Let us put our energy behind a future we can believe in. “A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.”  John Lennon

The Pisces/Virgo axis is delivering very powerful teachings now as the Nodal axis is traveling in these signs for the next 14 months. The Nodes of the Moon are the signs that the eclipses fall in over a certain period of time. Eclipses are harbingers of change as the Sun or Moon blinks and allows cosmic energy to flow in more rapidly than at other times.

Virgo is an earth sign which is very analytical, practical and detail oriented. Pisces is a water sign which is very intuitive, sensitive and mystical. The Pisces/Virgo axis is that of the practical mystic, the one with a foot in both worlds. The practical mystic is one who puts their prayers in motion with practical feet. We can no longer only pray and believe that is all it will take. As we pray for a better world, what practical actions can we take to bring that world into being? As the Dalai Lama says, “Prayer can bring great solace to the individual but changing the world requires action.” We are all in service to the greater good but we need to listen carefully to understand what actions need to be taken.

We are able to listen more carefully when we are in the present moment. The Pisces/Virgo axis teaches us that the Divine is most accessible when we are fully present. There is really no difference between the sacred and the mundane, only a difference in one’s level of mindfulness and ability to be present. When I was walking in a redwood forest recently, I stopped and was able to still my mind. When I did this I felt an incredible outpouring of love in the forest. When my mind was chattering away, I was not aware of all that was around me. As I became quiet, I was filled with a love infusion that was like a battery being recharged. I felt alive, fulfilled and contented as I had not been in a while. As I came into the present moment, I was able to listen to the guidance that was there for me and understand with more clarity.

At this Full Moon Jupiter in Virgo and Chiron in Pisces oppose each other and straddle the Nodes of the Moon. Jupiter is known as the “Great Benefic”, Chiron is known as the “Wounded Healer.” Pisces and Virgo are both attuned to suffering. When we allow ourselves to feel the suffering of others, we are then able to attempt to alleviate that suffering. There are great gifts and opportunities available to us as we utilize the healing power of compassion. We are being asked to remember that on some level we are all one; that we are responsible for our world and each other.

As the Dalai Lama says, “I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for one self, one’s own family or one’s nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival, it is the foundation for world peace.”

We can create a world where people live from the heart but to do that we must really believe that it is possible. If we buy into the current cynicism that what we want is impossible, it will be. As each us of shifts our conscious awareness into our own hearts and allow it to lead the way, it will show us what is really true. What is true is that love is abundant and is the secret force in the Universe. Let us become conscious dreamers, shifting the consciousness of our world into love in action for all beings

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”   Harriet Tubman
